Meet Roger, your Salesforce architect

I am a lifelong consultant who enjoys solving problems at the intersection of people, process, and technology. Since 2010, I have advised and delivered for organizations ranging from pre-revenue startups to large public companies that are household names with operations across five continents.

My work has involved managing and executing projects to deliver digital transformations with annual budgets for CRM into the tens of millions of dollars. The role that I play bridges the gap between functional and technical, meaning that I collect requirements, design features, and document solutions, and also deliver functionality, build integrations, and create custom UIs.

Here’s how it works

Three simple steps to solve many complex problems.

You can choose from three plans, all of which allow you to submit requests to get advice on designs, solutions, and recommendations.

Premier and Premier+ offer faster turnaround times and virtual meetings, and you can always change plans as your needs evolve.

Here’s my recommendation on best fit for you.

  • Standard: you’re working on smaller, incremental changes to a fairly stable Salesforce environment within a relatively simple systems landscape

  • Premier: you’re working on larger initiatives and projects, like adding or redesigning a business process, integrating Salesforce with another system, or creating custom UIs

  • Premier+: you’re implementing Salesforce for the first time within your organization, or working on initiatives that impact your entire organization and external stakeholders

Step 1
Subscribe to a plan above

You send an email with details about the problem that you’re trying to solve, along with whatever supporting material you have.

Premier and Premier+ offer the ability to submit requests via Slack or Teams, making it easier for you to get advice where you work.

A great request for a problem has tons of details about the people, process, and technology. If I need more details, I’ll let you know.

  • People: who are the stakeholders, what is their involvement and background, and what are their incentives

  • Process: what are the current and ideal states, how often does it occur, how much time is involved,

  • Technology: what systems are and could be involved, who controls those systems

Step 2
Send your requests

You review the feedback and recommendations that I share via email and attachments, and we iteratively work through any follow ups.

Premier and Premier+ offer the ability to collaborate live via virtual meetings to define requirements, review designs and solutions, and work with stakeholders to gain buy-in.

My feedback may include a mix of these to help provide context and improve the effectiveness.

  • Comments: inline and sidebar within attachments shared with your request

  • Recordings: narrating and highlighting specific points that are better conveyed with audio and visuals

  • Whiteboards: showing data models, process flows, UI wireframes, etc

Step 3
Review feedback and iterate

Not sure which plan is right for you?

Schedule a call or send an email

Tell me where you are with your Salesforce journey and what you need.

We’ll either discuss it live or async, and figure out if we work well together.

No BS, no hard sales pitches, just a chat.

Your peers have great things to say

You can have their experience, too.

Dodge Labs provided invaluable guidance during our eight-figure Salesforce rollout, covering licensing strategy, organizational readiness and cultural fit risks, technical architecture, data strategy, and areas for focusing feature development. Roger is uniquely qualified to opine on a wide variety of topics, with his advice outshining those of big consulting firms who charge 10-100x more. Even if you choose to use such a firm for your implementation, ask Roger for second opinions — you will be so glad you did.

Vanessa Toyryla

Senior Manager
Strategic Consulting Firm

I worked with Roger on a large multi-vendor, multi-phase cloud implementation spanning a global team for which Roger was our lead architect. Roger’s sense of ownership is one of the traits that stick out most when I think of our time spent working together. He navigated a complex technical environment with tightly knit dependencies seamlessly. He became a “go-to” leader on the program, known for his ability to solve architectural challenges with scalable solutions that stayed on-time and within-budget. He was able to secure leadership buy-in amidst a dozen competing program priorities and business must-haves. He maintained a collaborative, relationship-focused approach while still holding his peers (and himself) accountable, which built trust and credibility across the full program team.

Roger's technical chops coupled with his ability to interface with functional team members and explain the “why” to executive stakeholders helped make the entire team successful, and I would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Recommending Roger as Dodge Labs is easy; he’s an extremely accomplished Salesforce architect with vast industry knowledge, and the Dodge Labs business model provides world-class knowledge at a fraction of hiring in-house. The hidden strength of the Dodge Labs model is the cross-pollination of current state of the art or best practice implementations. Driving this model is Roger’s direct intelligence, deep Salesforce and technical experience, clear communication and consultative approach. Roger and Dodge Labs receive my strongest recommendation.
